Silk is the young, innocent, wild and somewhat crazy elven boy, living and studying in the temple of Rovby Village.
Eth, the teacher of herbology and healing is his guardian and friend in the temple, as the boy came to the temple as an young orphan.What he doesn't know is that his father was the leader of the Nymfalds' rebellion against the ruler of the mighty Idoih-clan. In other words; The nemesis of Sama-Vatil Idoih himself.
Since both his parents are dead and he is their only known child, with Sama-Vatil Idoih furiously seeking his revenge, Silk finds himself the main target of thousands of soldiers, civilians and bounty hunters within and in connection with the clan.
Most people would have been dead a long time ago with that kind of enemies. But it turns out that the temple's High Priest Warrew - Eth's father, friend of Silks father - has been well aware of the threat and has protected him from the Clan ever since he came to the temple as an infant.
The biggest shock is for Silk when he finds out that his bitter and harsh teacher in martial arts and battle-technique - Azt - is an ex-member of the clan and has risked his own life many times for his safety.
As the time passes, Silk realizes that he has to leave his safe life in the temple and set out on a journey. A journey to find a new place to hide - and maybe finally find out the truth about his people, the Nymfalds.
