Defas.
Defas is the calm, silent but fierce when provoked Fire-elf. He is of Tsfaergish* descent, but spends most of his time on the road.He was sent to be trained as a peaceful monk by his parents, but got tired of the hard life for a fire-elvish boy in a world built and ruled by women.One dark night, he sneaked out from the monastery to never return, and have wandered around from place to place ever since.
It's said that he has an apartment of his own in the town of Setrava, but he doesn't live there very much. But since he's got the money for it, he's hiring it all year-around from a lady who takes care of it for him when he's out on any of his journeys.
In Defas' culture it's the most common that the women makes the business, and the men stay at home to take care of children, cooking and cleaning. As a matter of fact, it's the only way for a man to live a decent life. A man without a wife is in his culture equal to being a prostitute.
As an unmarried man, any Fire-elvish woman could actually just point at him to take him to their home, marry him without even asking, and make him a member of her harem - or personal slave if so was the case.
Though, there are rumours of Defas not staying unmarried for long, since he and his best friend and love Henaria seems to get closer each other for every day...
*Tsfaerg ("City/realm of Fire") is the name of the country and the enormous volcano where most of the fire-elves live.
