Name: Azt Azt is, or at least was, one of Silk's teachers in the temple. This tetchy elf has a tragic past in the Idoih clan, which made him filled with hatred towards everyone and everything. No one knows really what happened in his past, except himself, his brother and his father. Azt became a member of the temple at the age of sixteen, and was also very good friends with Elleriw until he was betrayed by him. Hair color: Long, black. Eyes: Black. Skin: Pale, silver Name: Agito Agito is a rain elf who is Fensum's best friend - and enemy. He has a big ego, loves silky soft furs and clothes, and hates the Idoih clan. Instinct of self-preservation not included. You may well find him happily shouting nasty insults at a minor army of fully equipped Idoih clan soldiers, which is not normally a good thing to do - because in most cases, you'd find yourself dead before you could say "big sharp sword". But one major advantage of being a rain elf is the ability to control the weather; and getting a big lightning bolt in your head is not very nice. In short - Idoih elves ignore him. Hair color: Black, shoulder-length. Eyes: Mist grey. Skin: Caucasian. Name: Aljhira Aljhira is a young human priestess, living in the great desert of Vatil-Mesh. Not as a nomad, as most humans, but as a priestess. Still, a nomad life would have been better. If you stay in one place to long, something unpleasant will probably find you. That happened to Aljhira, and she found herself mother of a daughter, forced into marriage with a skilled elven bounty hunter. Hair color: Red-brown. Eyes: Brown-grey. Skin: Sand colored Name: Defas Darekh - ( read more ) Defas is a fire elf from the mountain of Tsfaerg. He lived a long time of his life as a monk in an fire elven monastery, but couldn't stand the hard rules for young men there. Defas ran away from the monastery as a young man, and is still living in "coldworld" as all land outside the volcanic Tsfaerg is called by it's inhabitants. Hair color: Yellow-red-flaming, wavy . Eyes: Ruby red. Skin: Bright golden. Name: Elleriw Elleriw was Azt's best and probably only good friend in the temple. As a young boy he was very intrigued by Azt's deepest secret - that he was a "black blood", as the Idoih elves are also called. Elleriw even tried to join them after he was done with his studies in the temple, but they denied him a place as soldier and considered him 'too weak'. Furious over that answer, Elleriw became a spy for them, hoping some of his information would earn him a rank in the clan. But back then he didn't know he would meet young Elliwa in the temple. And certainly not that he would fall in love... Hair color: Blond, wavy. Eyes: Green-blue. Skin: Caucasian. Name: Elliwa Ever heard about little girls who fall in love with the first enigmatic, mysterious (and most certainly totally uninteressted of any romances) man they meet? Well, Elliwa, Viscno 's sister, is one of them. This poor little girl is heartbreakingly much in love with Azt who detests her just as much as he detest everyone else. Sad but true. During the worst periods of her crush, she almost cried her eyes out every night, even after talking to Eth - until the worse but much more charming Elleriw took his first step back into the temple Hair color: Yellowish blonde, curly. Eyes: Deep blue. Skin: Caucasian Name: Eth Is also a teacher in the temple. He was once in the same group of students as his "enemies" Azt and Elleriw (who were picking on him even back then) With a malicious Azt around, teaching can be more than difficult, and Eth saving pupils from extra punishments doesn't make Azt any happier. Eth is teaching healing and garden work, and was also Silk's best "adult friend" during the boy's long time in the temple. Many of the other kids also thought of Eth as an extra best-friend, because he spent so much of his time listening to them when they came to him, and helping them with their problems. Especially Elliwa used to cry against his shoulder after her many failed attempts to talk to Azt. His own relation to Azt is still not that friendly. He is always nice and polite against him, though, ignoring all of Azt's insults. But after he healed and saved Azt when he was badly injured in a battle, Azt became somewhat friendlier to him - or at least didn't seem to hate him quite as whole-heartedly. Hair color: Brown, short , except two long braids in front of his ears. Eyes: Brown-green. Skin: Caucasian Name: Etnah Darekh A fire elf. Defas and Fensum's elder sister. There is not much known about her except that she is high-ranked military and lives in the land of Tzfaerj. Hair color: Flaming blue. Eyes: Grey-blue-white. Skin: Bright golden Name: Fensum Darek Defas'and Etnah's little brother. He's got a short temper, even shorter than his brother's, and he is very frightened of mermaids and almost everything else that lives in water. He travels around very much simply because he likes it (unlike his brother who tries to stay put in one place) He also enjoys singing, even trough he lacks the ability. Hair color: Flaming red, short. Eyes: Grey-blue-white. Skin: Bright golden Name: Henaria Henaria one of the so called "Forest elves", nomads living in the forest, persecuted by the Idoih-clan. She is also Defas fiancée. Her immunity to fire came from a blessing from her grandmother, that if she found true love in her life, and that love was returned, nothing would stand in the way of their feelings. Hair color: Very dark green. Eyes: Brown-gray. Skin: Caucasian Name: Idoih The divine one himself. No one knows anything about his background except himself, but it is said that he is an ancient, god-like spirit. This creature is like a parasite. He lives on other peoples souls, draining them slowly, making the power of the victim's soul and body become one with his own. Even some of his own generals have lost their bodies and souls when they grew too strong. The only thing known about his goals is that he wants to obliterate Silk's race. Because Silk's father, his nemesis, is the only man who ever came close to destroying him, and would have if he hadn't vanished . . . Hair color: Iridescent, white, long. Eyes: Rainbow-colored. Skin: Pale Hair color: White. Eyes: Yellow. Skin: Faded honey. Name: Jeraw - ( read more ) Leader of the southern branch of the Idoih elves, he's also titled Sama-Tereh Jeraw. This one-eyed man was the one who adopted Shiego. On his way home from a mission in another country, he found Shiego buried in snow. Since Jeraw was not born a real "black blood", devoid of emotion, he pitied the defenseless child and took him in. What he didn't know was that Shiego was the son of Shiersilk that Idoih wanted so badly. And the son of the man who took his right eye in an almost embarrassingly bad fight, from his point of view. Name: Kalborogh Kalborogh, or Sama-Kal Kalborogh, is the leader of the western branch of the Idoih elves. Cold, cynical, but handsome he is the most known of the four Idoih-generals. Hard, but not unreasonable, he has more or less been appointed a diplomat and representative of the Idoih clan, and is often sent on missions to parts of the world other than the ones he is technically responsible for. The blood brother of Kazteph and always the last to leave a battle field. Hair color: Long, black, afro. Eyes: White, with a faint grey ring around the iris. Skin: Pitchblack, exept for one round albino spot in the forehead. Name: Kaseh Azt's little brother, who were also born a pure "black blood". Kind of a loner, only trusts Yidoh for unknown reason. A single-way soul-band is said to have united them, since Yidoh is the only one who can stop, but also summon a rage over him. Kaseh on the other hand, can't affect Yidoh noticeable - but still kick his butt when pissed at him. Kaseh has made himself known for his lack of displaying feelings and indifference to pain. But maybe he softened a bit towards his banished brother Azt when their father died. Hair color: Black, shaved at the sides. Eyes: Brown-yellow. Skin: Pale, silver. Name: Kazteph Father of Kaseh and Azt General and leader of the northern branch of the Idoih elves. Hard as stone to his sons and his soldiers - and not a good father. A short time after the birth of Kaseh his beloved wife died, and he forbid everyone to even think about the fact that she had existed. Not even his blood brother Kalborogh was allowed to even pronounce her name. But except for that, nothing changed. He continued with his missions as if nothing had happened, carrying her name safely in his own mind until he died. Hair color: Black, shaved at the sides. Eyes: Very dark brown. Skin: Pale, silver. Name: Minega The mother of Shiego and Silkamin, Minega, and Shiersilk were soulmates since the day they first met. Some time later, when she was twenty, she gave birth to her first son - Shiego. Six years later Silkamin was born. She lived a peaceful life with her sons, raising them both together with Shiersilk, giving them all their love. But times changed, and she and Shiersilk had to flee as Idoih elves attacked their home town, leaving the both of the boys in a cave with a basket of food. A friend of Shiersilk had promised him that he would pick the children up within two days, but he was killed before he reached the boys' hideout. Minega was waiting in a village a couple of miles away for Shiersilk's friend to show up with the children. But when he didn't show up in three days she feared the worst. Without thinking she rushed out from the village, heading for the cave. Alas, she ran straight into an ambush. By this time, Shiersilk had already went to fight Idoih. An old priest found her with an arrow in her chest and brought her to a small monastery. She had a high fever for three days, and finally passed away on the fourth. What happened to her and Shiersilk's souls after the fight with Idoih, no one knows. Hair color: Pale blue/silver Eyes: Emerald Green. Skin: Pale sand, with a slight blue touch. Name: Muini Also called Sama-Takle Muini. Leader of the eastern branch of the clan. The only female general in many years. Stiff, but always correct, Muini is the most powerful of generals. Not only in her time, but in history. Her powers in the astral-space are great enough to be compared to Idoih's, which in itself is a very good reason to keep this lady at your side. Hair color: Grey with black streaks. Eyes: Ice blue. Skin: Very pale, slight bluish silver. Name: Shiego - ( read more ) Shiego is Silks brother, and the elder son of Shiersilk and Minega He was "adopted" by Jeraw at the age of six, and raised to be one of the Idoih elves. Hair color: White. Eyes: Born with yellow eyes, which turned to green as year passed. . Skin: Sand colored. Name: Silkamin - ( read more ) Silkamin, or Silk for short, is the younger son of Shiersilk and Minega. Orphaned at a tender age he never knew his parents nor his heritage - until the day he found himself the target of some relentless Idoih-clan assassins. Having grown up in the peaceful temple of Rovby Village, he must now face the destiny passed on to him - and above all, make sure to stay alive. Which is not an easy thing when the most powerful creature in the world has but one goal - to destroy you... Hair color: Shifting blue. Eyes: Emerald green. Skin: Sand colored. Name: Shiersilk / Bluehair Shiersilk is the father of Silkamin and Shiego. He hasn't been seen for many years, not since Idoih burned down his home town and Shiersilk alone went to battle him. When after a fierce fight Idoih himself was laying on his back, almost dead, Shiersilk was about to deal him the deathblow - but all of sudden he disappeared into thin air. Some people say Idoih used his remaining powers to drain his enemy's soul and that Shiersilk is dead. Others think he's still alive, hiding or sealed somewhere. Hair color: Shifting from deep to light blue to greyish, depending on the sky and his mood. Eyes: emerald green. Skin: Pale sand (with a slight hint of blue). Name: Warrew Warrew is the high priest in Silk's temple, and have been so from the day it was founded. Rumors say Warrew is one of the ancient 'star-people', just like Idoih, but that is not the whole truth. He was one of the 'star-people' from the beginning, but something strange happened to him. Some say he were cursed, other says he blessed himself, but his body only ages until it reached the age of sixty , only to be awoken the next day as that of a 20-year old - and so the whole ageing of his body starts over again, with the same mind and memories as before. Warrew is one of the few people in the temple that Azt respects, and the only one except Azt himself who knows what happened in Azt's dark past. Hair color: Brown with gray streaks. Eyes: Grey. Skin: Dark sand colored. Name: Viscno Elliwa's little brother and Silk's best friend in the temple; a real chatterbox and a loyal friend. He can't resist a challenge, especially if it presents an opportunity to show off. Telling him that something is impossible is a sure-fire way to make him do it - just to really prove that he can. This comes in very handy, sometimes. Other times it just gets him and Silk into trouble. Hair color: Brown with a long braid by the neck. Eyes: Brown. Skin: Caucasian. Name: Yidoh A soldier and bounty hunter freelancing for the Idoih elves. He is emotionally attached to Kaseh, and though they are such an odd couple, those two stick together. Yidoh loves drinking, gambling, fighting and has some major problems with controlling his knives. Brothels are not rare among the places he likes to spend his nights. A very dark past in the desert of Sama-mesh lies behind his twisted mind. Hair color: Greenish blonde. Eyes: Blue/grey. Skin: Caucasian.
